| Martin Schwab, MD, is Professor of Neuroscience at ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich. He is Director of the Brain Research Institute and the Center for Neuroscience Zurich (ZNZ). He made key contributions the molecular mechanisms and therapy of spinal cord injuries. The Anti-Nogo Antibodies that he discovered are currently in clinical trials lead by Novartis. For his contributions to basic and clinical science he received numerous awards including the Marcel-Benoist Prize (1994), the Christofer-Reeve's Medal and the Koester Prize (2007). | |
